Family Photos in Chiswick, London
Every time I photograph a family at the House and Gardens in Chiswick, I fall in love with the beautiful gardens and location. Chiswick House and Gardens is, for a reason, the most beautiful location in London for family photos. It doesn't matter what time of year it is; the garden looks like it just awoke from a nap, and the stunning building makes the perfect background for any portrait.
The family from the US reached out to me for fun-filled, natural, yet sophisticated portraits — vacation photography without the cheesiness of landmarks or London buses. We connected via email and chatted about film photography and architecture. The minute I saw the family coming around the corner, I knew it would be a stunning session. I believe in the law of attraction - somehow, I always end up with the most amazing families to photograph. It is such a joy!
We met in the early evening and lucked out on a warm, sun-soaked summer day.
Italian Gardens
The Italian Garden at Chiswick House and Gardens is always impeccable. It features planted flowers, an old Victorian glasshouse, and quite a few Italian statues along the paths. The children could run around, look at bees and flowers, play hide-and-seek, and twirl in the evening sun. They did absolutely amazing, and we ended up with so many beautiful photographs.
