Light and airy maternity portraits at Chiswick House & Gardens in London
Chiswick House and Gardens is the perfect location for your maternity portraits in London.
This stunning location, where British architecture meets a historical garden, is whimsical, romantic, and timeless. It's almost like stepping into one of our favourite period dramas or an episode of Bridgertons on Netflix. As a London-based maternity photographer, I regularly return to this place as nothing compares with the variety of locations.
The mum-to-be coordinated everyone's outfits to perfection, and even the little dog, aka big brother, had a little accessory that fitted into the colour scheme.
Chiswick House
We started at the back of the House where the architecture and building can frame portraits beautifully. The creamy stones reflect and help as a natural light source. It was an early saturday morning but the sun was already bright and we embraced direct sun as well as little pockets of shade.
We walked around the building and made use of the long path and garden.
We walked around the corner to take a few maternity photos with the glasshouse in the background. The flowers planted around the Glasshouse extension were in full bloom. I loved the pops of colour, the bright poppies, and foxgloves.
The Italian garden was planted with wavy, long grasses that glittered in the sun, almost silver. The light was gorgeous, and we captured my favourite photo of the day.
