Chelsea is an area in London with top public schools like Garden House, Sussex House, Hill House and Knightsbridge School. For Nursery Schools, they have the famous Miss Daisy's or les petites bellots. There is no wonder I photograph newborns in Chelsea pretty regularly. Chelsea has everything and from everything, the best! No, really! -even my hairdresser, with a 3 months waiting list, is in Chelsea. If you walk down the streets, you see kids dressed in the prettiest school uniforms accessorised with little boating hats or retired soldiers proudly parading around in their red uniforms. Chelsea has, without a doubt, the best High Street in London. I always recommend the area to tourists if they want to see beautiful flower installations during the month of May and the oh-so-famous Chelsea flower show or during the year as a quintessential old English area.

It’s so very special to see families grow, and this time, I had the pleasure of photographing in a light-flooded maisonette. Documenting the close relationships between parents and their little ones is an honour. The little kisses, snuggles and gentle pads in between our poses never get old to me.
In-home lifestyle sessions are peaceful, organic, and stress-free for new mamas and babies alike. I always recommend investing in a hair and makeup stylist; it is worth it. This mother was a classic beauty, and I love how the soft curls fall into the newborn portraits. She picked a crisp white blouse that worked in her light-flooded space together with her husband's blue jacket.
